My Creative Journey (or… how it all got a little out of hand 😄)

If I’m honest… I don’t even remember exactly how this all started.
It might have been seed beads.
Or brooches.
Or crochet.
At this point? I guess we’ll never know 🤔
What I do know is this:
I see someone creating something on Instagram… and boom — I’m hooked.
Suddenly I’m thinking, “I can do that… why not?”
And just like that, a new project begins.
🎨 A Little Bit of Everything
Over time, I’ve explored more crafts than I can probably keep track of:
Brooches, earrings, necklaces, and headbands made from tiny seed beads
Crochet projects (including the cutest little baby booties)
Detailed wall art made bead by bead — a true labour of love
Kids’ sweatshirts
Cross stitch (Eureka it all started with Cross Stitch 😄)
Then came the pandemic…
🧵 The “Why Not?” Era
During COVID, I jumped into making tote bags with quotes — and honestly, that’s when things really took off.
After that, I did:
Crochet flowers
Heart-shaped earrings
More tote bags (of course)
Even more seed bead creations
And somewhere in the middle of all this…
I had the brilliant idea to rhinestone an entire car 🤦🏼♀️
Yes. A whole car.
Individually placing every single rhinestone.
(Still in progress, by the way… because apparently I like a challenge 🙃)
💸 The “I’ll Just Try This” Phase
Then one day, I saw clay earrings online and thought:
“I can definitely do that.”
Fast forward… £500 later in materials…
And just like that, I was making clay earrings too 🤣
✨ And Now… Jesmonite
You’d think that’s where the story ends — but no 🙈
Recently, I discovered jesmonite.
I saw someone creating beautiful pieces and… well, you know how this goes by now.
New materials? Ordered.
First attempts? Done ✔️
And honestly — I love the results.
I can’t wait to share more of these creations with you very soon.
💖 The Reality of My Creative World
My journey isn’t about sticking to one thing.
It’s about:
Curiosity
Trying new ideas
Learning as I go
And sometimes slightly overcommitting to big projects 😅
But that’s what makes it exciting.
Every piece you see is part of that journey — a mix of experiments, passion, and “let’s see what happens if…”
🚀 What’s Next?
Honestly? Probably something new.
Because if I see it on Instagram…
you already know what’s coming next.
